What's New in Deltek wInsight 6.5

Deltek is pleased to announce the release of wInsight 6.5, the latest edition to our best-in-class Enterprise Project Management (EPM) software and solutions suite.

wInsight is a scalable system that easily integrates with a wide range of project management tools - including SAP, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Deltek Open Plan, Cobra, and MPM, - to provide a common database for analysis and reporting on all projects across your entire organization.

The latest wInsight release includes several enhancements designed to help you meet your mandated Earned Value reporting requirements:

See It Before They Do
wInsight 6.5 gives users a pro-active view of project performance with updated DCMA/OSD tripwire metrics that provide early warning indicators to monitor performance. These powerful tools measure a project's performance against baseline so there aren't surprises during an audit or program review.

• Enhanced tripwire metrics will guarantee you are compliant with DCMA calculations
• View cost-schedule variance trends and over target baseline
• Look at the same metrics as your government customers, and stay ahead of the game by identifying problems early to minimize or eliminate impacts

Automated OMB IT Dashboard Submittal
Eliminate manual submission, validation and entry of data. Ensure that the OMB IT dashboard is accurate and have confidence in program data that supports TechStat reviews.

• Electronic transfer of data to the OMB Table II-A and IT Dashboard

Reduce Cycle Time
BEI and CPLI are critical program metrics and can now be automatically calculated. Schedule data can be imported directly to wInsight allowing calculation of metrics.

• Import schedule data to automatically calculate BEI and CPLI metrics
• Eliminate manual entry by importing schedule data directly to wInsight

More Flexible Graphics & Charts
The updated graphics take wInsight charting to the next level. There is a fresh look and feel to the charts leading to improved usability and customer satisfaction.

• Enhanced graphics and fixed fonts sizes including distinctive chart legends, positioning and formatting of chart titles for active elements and shading routines that support edge-smoothing and gradients
• All pre-existing functionality will continue to be supported

Updated CPR Format 5 Analysis
Your organization can customize the Format 5 template to fit your specific reporting needs. The storage capacity for Format 5 narrative analysis has been doubled to allow for more detailed reporting.

• Customization of Format 5 template allows for program or organization specific report
